Secret Morgue 3.1: When Animals Attack!

If you’ve been to the previous editions (Secret Morgue: Aliens and Secret Morgue: Witches’ Night) by the Film Geeks SD, you know you’re in for a treat!

From their page: “Your ticket will get you 4 films, 1 meal (Lefty’s Pizza), introductions by scientists, art show, photo opps, popcorn (while supply lasts), Bonkers Ass Cinema author selling and signing books, and trivia prizes. Doors open at noon for check in and marathon will end at 10:00 PM.

Not only can you watch (surprise …TBA) horror flicks, there’s also yummy food, meeting like-minded folks; and Pia will have a painting or two up for sale in the Art Show! So, go get a ticket and see ya there!

Where/when: Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park! SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2022 AT 12 PM – 10 PM

Update July 16, 2022:

Pia aka Her Dark Half will take part in the San Diego Comic-Con Art Show again. No badge or ticket required!

When: Come by anytime between Thursday July 21st and Sunday 7/24 from 9AM-6PM.

Where: Manchester Grand Hyatt, 1 Market Place, Downtown San Diego, CA. (Grand Hall C & D, lobby level, behind the hotel registration desk).

Update April 27, 2022:

Join us for Walpurgisnacht (Saturday, April 30th) at the San Diego Comic-Con Museum for the return of Secret Morgue..this time its ‘Witches Night Edition‘. Witchy horror marathon with movies, food, art show, raffle and more.

Due to Covid19 many events have been cancelled, including San Diego Comic-Con 2020 and its Art Show.

There is a possible Online Art Show in the works for SDCC, and if so, updates will be posted here!


Re: Pia’s new short film, the horror comedy “Things We Dig“:

The film has been submitted to several fall/winter film festivals and we are awaiting notifications about possible screenings. In the meantime, please follow for more frequent updates on social media:

Very happy to report that Pia’s “200th Anniversary of Frankenstein” submission made it into the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con Souvenir Book!



July 18th-22nd, 2018:

New mixed media original paintings coming to the 2018 #SanDiegoComicCon Art Show! This will be Pia’s 3rd and last year offering her little warrior series before moving on to new focus. She is supporting mental health awareness and non-profit charity by donating 10% of final sale. Read the backstory behind the inspiration here.

Pia will be offering several watercolor/ink paintings for auction during the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 Art Show from July 20th-24th.


Her ‘Warrior’ series is dedicated to anxiety & depression awareness. She will donate 10% of each final sale to the non-profit organization TWLOHA. More details here!
